The bass/midrange section features a 15″ Neodymium bass reflex driver. Proprietary heat transfer technology greatly reduces the losses inherent in thermal compression, resulting in exceptional sound pressure capacity over an extended frequency range up to 60 Hz. The treble section is driven by a 1.4″ Neodymium HF motor offering a very low distortion rate and extended response up to 20 kHz. The SMX15 uses coaxial technology which gives it a perfectly coherent sound field over a constant aperture of 85°. The exclusive ATS™ (Aiming Tuning System) is the combination of a complex cabinet and a magnetised mechanical wedge. The cabinet incorporates 3 handles allowing the speaker to be gripped and handled in any position. The connectors are housed in two recesses in the cabinet to protect them. Standard fittings include a stand base, two inserts for mounting a yoke and the ATS™ system.
