The rear section is a bass-reflex configuration with a contoured port that optimises roundness at the low end of the spectrum, delivering an impressive physiological effect. The horn driver at the front, meanwhile, offers a gain in efficiency at the higher frequencies of the bandwidth, allowing for greater dynamics and impact. The use of a 21-inch loudspeaker combined with the large output surface area of the horn ensures a high, even sound level. The UM121 has been designed to be used on the floor or suspended. Specific accessories enable it to be used above or alongside UM210 loudspeakers. Interaction between the UM121s or with the UM210 has been optimised: the result is uniform bass and compliance with the latest regulatory requirements for audience hearing protection.
